The Arc de Triomphe lit up at night. It is Napoleon's monument to his military invincibility. It was begun by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1809, but not completed un til the reign of Louis-Philip in 1836. Beneath the arch is the Tomb of the Unkn own Warrior.
